18th Street Brewery Devil's Conclave Double Milk Stout

Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the NorCal Beer Blog's brew review.

Tonight’s featured beer is 18th Street Brewery Devil's Conclave Double Milk Stout. I acquired this bottle at Caps & Taps in Dublin. The guys at Caps & Taps (here) are really cool and if you go in there tell them that Mark from NorCal Beer Blog sent you.

From the 18th Street Brewery website: “Cinnamon and sea salt churn together in an unholy congregation the likes of which only 18th Street knows how to host. Brewed with a malty decadence and lactose sweetness that  would please even Satan himself, we present Devil’s Conclave.”
Let’s get started!
Appearance: Pours black with a thin mocha colored head and good lacing.
Aroma: Roasted malts, chocolate, cinnamon and coffee.
Taste: Chocolate, roasted malts, cinnamon, coffee, lactose and a touch of salt.
Overall: Creamy and sweet, 18th Street Brewery Devil's Conclave Double Milk Stout is very good.  This 7% ABV offering is rich and delicious.

Cheers!

Mark Harvey
