Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the
NorCal Beer Blog's brew review.
Tonight’s featured beer is Pizza Port Brewing Company
Chronic Ale Amber Ale. I picked this can up at The Wine Club in San Jose
(here). They have a small craft beer
section, but they have an incredible selection. If you're anywhere near

Let’s get started!
Appearance: Pours
clear amber with a thin white head leaving lots of spotty lacing.
Aroma: Sweet malts,
caramel, citrus, grainy and bready.
Taste: Caramel,
bready, nutty and grainy malts with touches of citrus and grassy hops.
Overall: Refreshing
and balanced, Pizza Port Brewing Company Chronic Ale Amber Ale is a solid
beverage. This 4.9% ABV offering is
absolutely worth trying if you’re a fan of Amber ales. I enjoyed it!
