The Pike Brewing Company Monk's Uncle Tripel Ale

Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the NorCal Beer Blog's brew review.

Tonight’s featured beer is The Pike Brewing Company Monk's Uncle Tripel Ale.

From the Pike Brewing Company website: “Big, full bodied & complex with a yeasty nose, fruity esters & malty dryness”.
Let’s get started!
Appearance: Pours a cloudy gold with a fluffy white head and nice solid lacing.
Aroma: Fruity, bready, malty, spicy and all good things that go along with a Belgian Tripel.
Taste: Flavor follows the nose and includes brown sugar, caramel malt, banana, biscuit malts and Belgian yeast.
Overall: Delicious, smooth and incredibly drinkable The Pike Brewing Company’s Monk's Uncle Tripel Ale is simply fantastic. The alcohol is well hidden (9% ABV) and if it didn’t pack such a punch I’d want to session this one.  Try it, you’ll love it!

Cheers!

Mark Harvey
