Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the
NorCal Beer Blog's brew review.
Tonight’s featured beer is Knee Deep Brewing Company
Ryedentity Crisis Rye Belgian Saison.
Since this was a seasonal I wasn’t able to find any
information on this beer from the brewer’s website. So, without further ado…
Let’s get started!
Appearance: Pours a golden amber color with a small white
head and a little lacing.
Aroma: Rye forward, malt, Belgian yeast, pepper, bubblegum
and citrus.
Taste: Big rye flavor, tart, Belgian yeast, spice and
citrus.
Overall: Enjoyable, balanced and flavorful, Knee Deep
Brewing Company’s Ryedentity Crisis Rye Belgian Saison is uniquely different,
in a good way. I completely enjoyed this
8% ABV offering. Not sure if this is
something I’d keep on hand, but it is something I’d enjoy having from time to
time.
