Russian River Brewing Company Blind Pig IPA

Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the NorCal Beer Blog's brew review.

Tonight’s featured beer is Russian River Brewing Company Blind Pig IPA.

From the Russian River Brewing Company website: “Full-bodied, very hoppy, citrus, pine, fruity notes with nice dry, bitter finish!”
Let’s get started!
Appearance: Pours a pure copper color with a nice white head and great lacing.
Aroma: Citrus and pine dominate with tropical and floral hops mixed in. Smells incredible!
Taste: Hop perfection – grapefruit, pine, tangerine…citrusy and floral.  Balanced very well with pale malts and caramel malt sweetness with a smooth finish.
Overall: Smells great, tastes great…IS great… Russian River Brewing Company Blind Pig IPA is excellent.  At 6.1% ABV Blind Pig is one of the best IPAs on the market. Period!

Cheers!
