Tonight’s featured beer is Knee Deep Brewing Company
Midnight Hoppyness Imperial Black IPA. I’m a BIG fan of Knee Deep Brewing
Company beers so when I saw this one at Royal Liquors (here) I
immediately picked it up.
Appearance: Pours pitch black with a creamy mocha colored
head and excellent lacing.
Aroma: Citrus, grapefruit and pine hops, dark roasted malts, coffee and spicy rye.
Aroma: Citrus, grapefruit and pine hops, dark roasted malts, coffee and spicy rye.
Taste: Citrus, tropical and pine hops up front followed by
roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and rye.
Overall: Probably one of the best Black IPAs I’ve had, Knee
Deep Brewing Company Midnight Hoppyness Imperial Black IPA is SOLID. At 9.5% ABV this beer delivers and should
make their year-round rotation (in my opinion).
Cheers!
