Allagash Brewing Company White

Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the NorCal Beer Blog's brew review.

Tonight’s featured beer is Allagash Brewing Company White - Beer Brewed with Spices.

From the Allagash Brewing Company website: “Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer. Brewed with a generous portion of wheat and spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel, this beer is fruity, refreshing and slightly cloudy in appearance.”
Let’s get started!
Appearance: Pours a hazy pale yellow with a thin white head and light lacing.
Aroma: Wheat, banana, coriander, Belgian yeast, orange peel and clove.
Taste: Wheat, coriander, clove, banana, Belgian yeast, citrus and a touch of sweetness.
Overall: Refreshing and highly drinkable, Allagash Brewing Company White is excellent.  At 5.1% ABV this is a beer you’ll want more than one of.  I know I did!

Cheers!

Mark Harvey
