Iron Springs Pub & Brewery JC Flyer IPA

Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the NorCal Beer Blog's brew review.

Tonight’s featured beer is Iron Springs Pub & Brewery JC Flyer IPA.

From the Iron Springs Pub & Brewery website: “A Fairfax favorite! This IPA is smooth with great floral notes; big & bold, yet smooth & mellow.”
Let’s get started!
Appearance: Pours a golden orange with a slight off-white head and some lacing.
Aroma: Citrus, pine and other fruity hop aromas, sweet and light bready malts.
Taste: Citrus, fruity and floral hops with just a touch of hop spice balanced nicely with caramel, bready and slight toffee malt notes.
Overall: Highly drinkable and enjoyable, Iron Springs Pub & Brewery JC Flyer IPA is very good.  This 7.7% ABV offering is something I would absolutely suggest to fans of the style.  Solid West Coast IPA.

Cheers!

Mark Harvey
