The Willow's Market Pale Ale - Brewed by Strike Brewing Company

Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the NorCal Beer Blog's brew review.

Tonight’s featured beer is The Willow's Market Pale Ale - Brewed by Strike Brewing Company.  If you haven’t yet been to Willow’s Market in Menlo Park, CA you really should.  With well over 1,000 craft beers you’d be hard pressed to find a better selection.  Willow’s Market has two beers brewed for them locally – The Willow's Market Pale Ale and Dark Matter Imperial Stout. Check them out (here).

Commercial description: “PALE ALE: A bright golden ale that is a tasty balance of hops and malt. Perfect for any situation or time of the year this is one beer with which you can’t go wrong.”
Let’s get started!
Appearance: Pours a clear golden amber with a dense cream colored head and leaves tons of lacing.
Aroma: Caramel and biscuit malts balanced with citrus hop notes.
Taste: Taste follows the nose with caramel and biscuit malts, citrus, mostly grapefruit hop flavors.
Overall: Really solid American Pale Ale, The Willow's Market Pale Ale - Brewed by Strike Brewing Company is delicious.  At 5.8% ABV you can’t go wrong with this one.

Cheers!

Mark Harvey
