Maui Brewing Company Bikini Blonde Lager

Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the NorCal Beer Blog's brew review.

Tonight’s featured beer is Maui Brewing Company Bikini Blonde Lager. I brought this home fresh from Maui even though I know it can be sourced locally.

From The Maui Brewing Company website: “Our filtered Munich Helles Lager brewed with floral hops and Pilsner and Munich malts. This is the closest thing to an American Lager from Maui Brewing Co., but not skimpy of flavor. Bold, smooth and refreshing!”
Let’s get started!
Appearance: Pours a pale and hazy yellow with a nice bubbly white head and nice lacing.
Aroma: Clean, grainy, light malts, floral hops and citrus.
Taste: Sweet light grains and malts, citrus, Lager yeast, and a touch of corn.
Overall: Refreshing and easy drinking, Maui Brewing Company Bikini Blonde Lager is enjoyable.  At 5.1% ABV it is easy to put a few of these down.

Cheers!

Mark Harvey
