Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the
NorCal Beer Blog's brew review.
Tonight’s featured beer is Founders Brewing Company All Day
IPA - Session Ale.
From the Founders Brewing Company website: “The beer
you’ve been waiting for. Keeps your taste satisfied while keeping your senses
sharp. An all-day IPA naturally brewed with a complex array of malts, grains
and hops. Balanced for optimal aromatics and a clean finish. The perfect reward
for an honest day’s work and the ultimate companion to celebrate life’s simple
pleasures.”
Let’s get started!
Appearance: Pours golden orange with a small off-white head
and lots of soapy lacing.
Aroma: Citrus,
pine and tropical hop scents and slight biscuit and caramel malt aromas.
Taste: Citrus,
tropical and slight pine hops balanced well with caramel and light biscuit malts
Overall: Great balance
and extremely drinkable Founders Brewing Company All Day IPA - Session Ale is
refreshing and super sessionable. At 4.7%
ABV and 42 IBUs I could certainly drink this All Day.
Cheers!
Mark Harvey
