Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the
NorCal Beer Blog's brew review.
Tonight’s featured beer is Harvest Moon Brewing
Company Elevator Imperial IPA. This is another beer sourced while on my
summer road trip.
Although the Harvest Moon Brewing Company does not currently
have a commercial description of Elevator Imperial IPA you can still check out
their website here.
Let’s get started!
Appearance: Pours
a hazy copper color with a nice tan head and sticky lacing.my glass.
Aroma: Sweet caramel
malt, citrus and pine hops and a touch of toffee.
Taste: Citrus hop
bitterness up front followed by bready, caramel and toffee malt flavors and
finished off by pine hops.
Overall: Harvest
Moon Brewing Company Elevator Imperial IPA was nice to try. At 8.7% ABV the alcohol is present, but not
overwhelming. I’d like to try it on tap.
Cheers!
Mark Harvey
