Trumer Brauerei Pils

Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the NorCal Beer Blog's brew review.

Tonight’s featured beer is Trumer Brauerei Pils. Often looked over and never purchased, a six pack of this beer came to my home with high praise.  I decided it was time to drink and review this well thought of Pilsner.

From the Trumer Brauerei website: “A German style Pilsner, Trumer Pils is characterized by a distinct hops flavor, high carbonation and light body. A combination of Saaz and Austrian hops, malt mashing process and proprietary yeast make Trumer Pils unique among beers.”
Let’s get started!
Appearance: Pours a clear gold color with a large white fluffy head and beautiful lacing.
Aroma: Bready and pale malts, citrus and floral hops…sweet smelling.
Taste: Citrus and floral hops balanced with sweet grainy and bready malts and a slightly bitter and dry finish.
Overall: Trumer Brauerei Pils is an outstanding Pilsner.  Extremely drinkable and tasty, this 4.9% ABV gem is exceptionally made.  So THIS is what folks were talking about.

Cheers!
